Currently I got a 2800 Vig for the below but my LT1/LS1 mechanic says it feels like a 2500 or something.. but it is pink like a vig.. no name brand stuff on it though.. he recommended burning a stock one to 3500 or my vig to 3500 he knows a guy that does it

I think your mechanic has no idea what he's talking about. If your Vig doesn't flash to 2800 and you want higher, then have it restalled.

 

we dont know if its a true 2800 or not no labels on the converter i just know its pink and littler then stock.. doesnt vig let u send in ur converter and sends u a new one for free?
