Default What kind of tranny?
Hi all im just getting into this stuff and i was wondering how do i figure out what kind of tranny i have exactly? I have a 1995 pontiac trans am with the 5.7 V8.... also once i figure this out and let you guys know i would like to know whats the easiest but reliable way to get a quicker **** ?

Should be a 4L60e I think thats the only automatic the put in the f-bodies.

It is a 4L60E and a Transgo shift kit and a tune will also firm up your shifts.
