Default Help with Corvette A4

I just bought a 2002 Corvette with 180,000 miles.

the transmission shifts good , is slightly sluggish shifting in 3rd but works as well as a 50K mile cars tranny

today it started flashing the high trans temp warning on my dash, it would blink on then go away. then when i'd get to a hill it would go on and off more and the car would kinda stall and loose speed while i had the pedal down.

Felt what i think are the transmission lines on the passanger side of the radiator and they didnt feel extremely hot.

any help would be great
