Default Q:Tranny pros

My buddy just did a tranny service on his fbody.He cleaned the pan and didnt put the magnet back in.Do you guys see a problem with that?

No Problem Just Next Time He Services It Put It Back. Its There For A Litlle Insurance Catching The Little Stuff.

It would probably be best to get a new gasket and a clean bucket to catch the new oil. The metal debris inside of the trans should get trapped by the filter however fine metal does find its way through filter at times. It's your call. I myself would drop the pan again. Good luck,Vince.
