I am converting From the LS1 engine to the LS2 engine , what transmission should i get now for the LS2 engine ? not too too expensive , but around $1500 what could i find ? that would match up pretty much to my 4l60e that i pulled out of the LS1 , and what kinda stall or converter should i get for it too ? any information would be appriciated , thanks ...

 

for that money i think all you'll be able to get is a semi-built 4L60E. you won't be able to get anything much stronger since with stronger tranniest you have to modify a lot of things to get them to work properly. you need at least $2000 - $2500 to put something worthwhile into the engine bay. otherwise, you're just looking at another 4L60E.
