trans swap.

whats the difference between a 99 s10 4.3 v6 4l60e and my ls1 02 4l60e. And could the s10 trans be used as a core trans for a new trans or just rebuilt and swapped out into my SS. Surely some one can help. THANKS.

The bell housings, input shafts, pumps and torque convertors are all different. Most places will not take a lt1 core for a ls1 rebuilt. Good luck, Vince.
