Default Tranny Fluid?

I have a 2000 Z28 Auto(4L60E) I am gonna change the tranny fluid, and I was wondering what fluid has been the best to everyone here so far?

DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID!

it's bad bad bad bad bad for our trannies. use what vince said. there's no cheating this one. no synthetics, no additives. just use the old standby. the 4L60E tranny is not one that likes adaptation.

If you want the best?, go with LE (Lubrication Engineers) Monolec 7500. I and others have been using this in 550HP+ units for the last few years, and it has done very well. Dave at Trans-Go has had similar results. I only started recommending this as I like to get 2-3 years of good results before I say that it is a good oil to use. It works best in higher HP units, or road race setups, where the heat is a big factor in keeping the unit alive.
