Does anyone have any ideals on which trans. would be best for me on the new 2007 Solstice GXP, I have ordered one and kindly confused with which trans. to go with, 5 speed stick, or the 5 speed auto, this car puts out 260 HP stock, I intend to take it a lot higher, probably 400 to the ground, dont know which trans. would be stronger for my purpose, need all the help from you guys I can get.

Looks like the GM rating for engine torque
stick is torque rated at 258 ft lbs 5 speed auto at 311 ft lbs
but the auto will be hard to upgrade or program
