LT1 4L60E mated to an LSx
my reasoning is:
I had my LT1 4L60E rebuilt to handle my 383 LT1. my 383 spun a bearing so I was parting the car out. I came across an LS2 for cheap. I was going to sell my LT1 4L60E to fund an LS1 4L60E but then I began wondering why when I already have a built 4L60E. kind of stupid to sell a built unit for a stock unit. If I can spend some money to MAKE the LT1 4L60E work on an LS1 that would kick ***.
so I would need a crank spacer, a 6.0L flexplate. will a harness from an LSx work with the LT1 4L60E? If I get this spacer will I be able to use my torque converter as well?

they say a spacer, bolts for the spacer, and a 6.0L flexplate is all I need and I can use an older style transmission, which would include my already beefed up LT1 4L60E and TCI converter.
I REALLY don't want to spend the money on another transmission when I have a perfectly good one here. I'll spend $200 to make this work! I need a flywheel anyway as my LS2 didnt come with one.
another question I have. I notice that the back of the LS2 has a bolt in the top middle that the LT1 4L60E doesnt have but has a place for a bolt on the drivers side of the back. whats stopping me from having a bolt hole machined there?
