Default tranny slippage or what???

when the car is cold first gear seems fine when second gear kicks in rpms go up but car goes no where. when the car is hot first gear runs fine but second gear kicks in pretty hard. fluid levels seem fine and the car is stock. any imputs before i burn the car

I think it is the 2-4band that needs to be changed.

I believe that there is an issue with the 1-2 accumulator spring that causes that. trans-go shift kits include a new spring and designed to fix what they call a 1-2 bump of slide shift. i'd say that sounds like a hydraulic problem such as accumulator or a valve sticking.
