2 questions

do you guys think ARP bolts are necessary for flexplate to crank, and for converter to flexplate?

and will there be any adverse effects of driving a built trans/3400 stall with no transmission tuning?

the reason i ask is because i'm gonna put my trans and converter in soon and want to know when i should schedule a tune, or if the car will drivel ike **** without one, i dont plan on doing much more than driving 5 miles to and from work before the tune...

youll be fine. even without tuning. youll want to finesse some aspects later on once you figure out how the trans will react to the stall.

ARP bolts arent necessary. a built trans will require less tuning because you shouldnt mess with the shift firmness. it's all left to the boost valve
