Manual Vavle Body
You shift up, you shift down, you shift all around.
Complete control over the transmission is what it is, you decide what gear your in and when.
You have to shift it all the time though there is no getting lazy and letting the transmission shift for itself because its no longer possible.
After driving my 94 with a RMVB (reverse manual valve body) I won't ever go back to an automatic valve body in my hot rods.
They are a whole lot of fun but you must pay attention all the time just like driveing a 6 speed car.
when its a reverse manual valve body does that mean what is usually D is now 1 and what usually is 1st is now D?
do you have to press the little button on the shifter to change gears or just push the shifter into the gear you want?
by converting your trans into a manual valve body does it "strengthen" the tranny at all?

Yes, first is now where drive used to be.
Depends on what shifter you have, I use a B&M pro stick.
It does not strengthen the transmission at all it just makes it more fun.
