Default switching From LS1 to LS2 flexplate questions

I am switching my Engine from the LS1 in my 99 Trans am , to what i currently have now the LS2 in the TA, now my question is i have a 4L60E buiilt tranmission that i am going to put in and bolt up to the LS2 now i had to pull the flexplate off the LS2 that Came on the Crate engine cause it wouldnt work with my Torque converter , now my question is when i pulled the flexplate off the LS2 it had a spacer on it , now when i put my flexplate on the ls2 from the one i used on my LS1 would i have to pull the Spacer off the flexplate that was on the ls2 and use the spacer , or would it be ok to just put my flexplate without the spacer on the ls2 engine ? My onlyreason i am asking this is because i dont know if it need to spacer in order to activate the tranmission pump , simply cause the torque converter is not far enought back to turn the tranmission pump, or if i put the spacer on will it be too much and not want the tranmission to bolt up to the engine ?
