I bought a PYE3600 a while back and was thinking of putting it in the truck I'm going to get.
The truck will be a 2wd/4L60E combo and be getting a 422ci motor.
Is there any physical difference between the truck and car converters? I don't think there is because some part#s are cross referenced on Yanks site but, a definitive answer would be nice.
Also, what do you think it will stall too behind a 422? I know they are built to handle high torque apps. but, is their stall rating for a stock motor. I'd like to put in a 4000 stall so if the rating is for a stock motor I'd imagine it'll stall up to 4000+ with the stroker. If the Extreme converters are rated at higher torque levels I guess I'll send it back to be restalled for the 422.
Thanks
John

Just keep trying, I'm sure some emails get passed by on accident. You might have been one of the unlucky statistics.
Good luck.

That converter is 100% compatible with Gen III powered Trucks. It's also a terrific choice for a 422. It should stall around 4000 rpms under WOT, but have very docile street manners under regular driving. You will fly (traction permitting).
