Well my tranny swap is complete.

I went with a
TH400 with the standard gearing
Vigilante 4400 Stall
Custom CF BMR DS 3 3/4"
Custom cross member
Transbrake
BM Shifter with Transbrake button

Pictures... Not very good ones. Next time I jack it up I will get better pictures!


Tomorrow night is the true test at GVille. I just hop my stock bottom end holds together. I ran it up to 6500 RPMs today and saw 17psi on the stock bottom end. Pray for me!

 

Looks pretty clean, you have the F1C on a stock motor or d1 still?

 

Haha... the F1C is on the car now. I got a buyer for my D1SC head unit sooner than I thought and he wanted it so I went ahead and did the swap. I should have my 408 in a couple weeks though. But I intend to run it at the track tomorrow night and see if I can't bang out some 10s. I am seeing 17psi on teh stock block at 6500RPMs. I am hoping I can get one clean pass out of it.
