Default Going from a M6 to a 700R4. Need a little help.

Im not to fimiliar with the automatic conversions, but i want to swap a 700R4 from a M6. The trans is not a 4l60e its an older style trans like the early 90s. What do i need for this to bolt up? I know I need a crossmemeber and I'm not concerned about electrics since this is the older style.

Why the 700R4??

There are so many well built 4l60E's out there right now and you can get almost anything done to them that you want...

Th400 is also not a bad way to go..

I can use the 700r4 and not worry about the hook up for the 4l60e. I also want to keep overdrive.

I'm also looking into a 700r4 swap. Two issues to deal with are the TV cable hookup and the trans cooler. So far, the Mega Raptor 700 looks like the strongest tranny.

I have a 200R GN tranny that works great now that the issues with the original build were fixed. OD and TP 4400 converter. I may be considering going back to the six speed for more road course and AutoX stuff. If you are interested let me know
Cheeers,
