i got a new tranny from pro built but i was just wondering...my old one went out at about 130,000 just after an engine rebuild. it acted like it was jumping out of first and slipping. when it finally went out, it slammed hard and something obviously broke, it was like being in neutral. it got damn hot because it caught fire a little and went out. after it cooled i can put it in reverse and move around no problem. im not trying to fix it just kinda wondering what might have broke?
