I have 3600 2.5STR verter in a Rock-On Stage4 tranny, using a B&M Cooler custom mounted vertical behind the PS bottom opening in the nose and a AM tranny temp gage mounted in a bung welded to my Derale Deep Tranny Cooling Pan.

Even with combo of stop & go traffic and getting on the car on 90+ degree days - my tranny temps have never gone above 200 degrees.

I also have a SLP HD Rad and a Mocal Oil Cooler mounted behind the DS nose opening - so that takes some of the heat off the rad also - leaving more cooling capacity for the internal rad tranny cooler lines...

My sending unit is mounted in the cooler line right before it goes into the cooler. Normal cruising and highway driving stay between 150-180 depending on WOT runs and temp outside. On really hot days (105+), I see 200-210 in the city, 180 on the highway. This is a 3500 2.5 STR with a B&M 24K cooler mounted dope style. I will be adding a second one very soon.
