What are you running? I saw one at a parts store today that had a fan attatched to it....waste of money or worth it compared to the regular ones?

Buy a good cooler. At least 24 GVW. If you find out you NEED a fan I have a perma cool that I will sell you REAL cheap.
I run a B&M Hi Tek cooler with braided lines and AN fittings and with my setup I have never seen over 180.
It had only gotten to 170 before trying to keep up with you all the other nite on the hiway.
Sustained 4500 RPM tends to heat the tranny up.
