another ignorant flexplate question
another ignorant flexplate question I'm throwing a th350 behind an 04 iron-bottom motor in my third gen and looking at the TCI site they only sell one flexplate for the LS motors from 98 on up. It has the small bolt pattern so I can get a converter with no real problem(as long as the pattern is correct) Does this flywheel need any spacers for the converter nose or does it work as a straight bolt on. I tried e-mailing TCI direct but my military computer is as always... not allowing it. Thanks in advance.....
That spacer is for the pilot and not needed. If you order the TC correctly for your application (TH350), there are a few TC manufactures that will build the TC with the right tranny snout on it so no spacers will be neccesary. Also, the TCI supports two different bolt patterns.
