advice on picking out a stall
advice on picking out a stall I'm thinking about putting a stall on my 99 A4 Z28 daily driver. Its mostly stock, nothing crazy. I have a 3:42 gear in it now. The thing is, my posi unit is going out slowly but surely. If I put a stall in my car, will my rear end blow out a lot easier? and what size stall do you reccomend?

I would say go with a Yank Or Vig 3,200
Fix your rearend first, then buy a new converter or you are liable to have a car with a new converter and a blown rearend that requires more money to fix or it will just have to sit until you get the money to fix it. Never add more stress to a damaged component.
yea, I'm sick of wasting money on my 10 bolt. I've already got about $500 into it. Just to fix the posi will be at least another $500. I'm gonna try and save up some money quick for a 12 bolt. what size stall should I get??? remember, it's going to be my daily driver. I was thinking something like a 2400 or 2600. is that too small?
