Should I put on a Temp Gauge for the Auto?
My buddy has an Auto Meter Trans temp gauge that he will give me. Is it a good investment to have one? How many people are running one? What is the normal temp that it should read?
Yes I have one, and you should have on as well. Temp reading will vary based on where it is placed. Popular choices are: In the Pan, Service port, or cooler line
Mine is in the service port. Read about 175 while crusing, although it can get to 210 while in stop and go traffic in Dallas, TX heat 100*+
