Drive-plate not rotating after install

Drive-plate not rotating after install Guys,
I dropped a new 408 in my truck the other day...and after I bolted the engine & tranny together...I moved to the driveplate-to-torque converter bolts...and got all three in...but after the 3rd bolt...I found that I couldn't rotate the drive plate anymore.....why would this be? After rotating the drive plate many times without tranny fluid...could this have dried the seal up making it hard to turn?...What experiences has anyone else had when doing this?...
