just pulled trans pan off, how much fluid do i need?

i've put in about 3.5 quarts but its still pretty low (barely on the stick) how much am i supposed to add? i know that after a complete overhaul its something crazy like 10 quarts, but i just changed a solenoid....

I think it is 5 after fluid and filter change.

It is more than likely 5 qts. I would buy 6 just to make sure. Be carefull when adding the 5qt due to not to overfill.
