LS1 Flexplates
I can see how most of us folks get by without one, since the tech inspections we have to go through aren't usually the "fine toothed comb" variety. What I don't get is how the LS1 powered S/E cars get by without an SFI approved flexplate. I'm sure tech inspection at a national event is pretty involved. Regardless of the inspection, I wouldn't think S/E racers and the like are the type to try and "slide something" by the tech inspector when it's related to safety...
I just don't see how it is that someone hasn't marketed an SFI approved flexplate since the LS1 has been around since '97.
