Won't go into park / start in neutral?!
Won't go into park / start in neutral?! 1998 Grand Prix GTP, 161K
Sometimes the car doesn't want to go into park. Sometimes if you use just a little more force than normal, it will go. Other times you have slam that sonofabitch to make it go. I don't like doing that for fear I may make it worse. Unfortunately, it leaves me with no choice. The first time I had this problem, I thought "It's okay, I'll just leave it in neutral and put the brake on." I went in the store, came back out and discovered that it won't start in neutral (AFAIK, it should). Whudafxup with that?
