Default TCI converter question

I am looking at a car with a few mods done to it, one being a 3500 stall. I don't know all the details of the car but i do know that its having issues with the lockup. Something about it going in and out of lockup on the express way. Guy saids its something with the tune. Can this be true? Any help is App.

Be careful. Find out how long the converter has been in the car. If it is new, it might be a tuning issue. If it has been in there a while, the clutch could be going away, which can end up taking out the tranny, besides the converter being bad.

Ok, that's good news ... if I was serious about the car, I would drop the pan and make sure there was nothing suspicious in there. Then, I would find someone who knows how to tune. Otherwise, you're simply paying good money to buy someone else's headaches.
