How do you control the shift points? I know it sounds stupid but since the computer doesnt control them how would I adjust it?

Governor weights and springs will make the biggest change. Vacuum mod adjustment good for a few mph change.

What do I adjust or buy to make the changes? I want it to shift at 6800.

You could take the governor apart and grind 1/8" x 1/2" off each side of the inner weights. Reassemble it with finish nailes just like what it comes with. Crush the nail ends down with vise grips.
If thats not enough take it apart and grind more off. You may also need to use lighter springs as you lighten the weights. B&M sells a kit with different weights, springs and reuseable pins.
