i was wondering how many have done this swap your selfs and how hard it is. is anything special needed besides the basics..trans, coverter, drive shaft, flexplate.. ?

 

well you have to decide which trans you want, the th350 or th400. I had a friend with experience do the swap. it is pretty basic except getting a new driveshaft made to the new length, and cutting two ears off the tranny bellhousing. other than that it bolts up.

there is a good sticky at the top of the auto. trans. section. thats where i got all my info last year when i did my swap. pm me if you have any questions.
