New Vig 3600 installed
I was getting bored w/my ST3500 (too used to it) and since my trans went out on me I decided i wanted to try out a different verter.
I got a Vigilante 3600 and it's great! Definetly harder on my street tires than my Yank. Seems to stay up at higher RPMs more which is annoying (when trying to be quiet while passing the police station) but other than that it feels good. I can't wait to test it out at the track!
What are you going to do with the Yank?

I'm just wondering cause as you know I have that trans and I'm always over concerned about stuff breaking <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Just wondering if they figured out why the stator broke? Did you upgrade to the Extreme version?</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yup had them upgrade it to the extreme version at the same time. The tranny guy was up from KY this past weekend.
So did the trans guy have any guess as to what happened?

Gave the car WOT, it downshifted into 2nd gear and then free revved to rev limiter.
Drove 4 miles home and parked it till last friday. Drove it to work and then to the shop, had to play w/the gas to get it to shift

dunno.. haven't raced it yet. It definetly holds the higher RPMs longer... 1-2 and 2-3 all sound the same at parth throttle <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Though I'm guessing I will loose some top end but will make up for it down low....

hows the difference feel on the expressway? somethings i feel like mine could put a little more power out- but the front end does lift and throws you back into the seat when you nail it at that speed <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
