I need to know how to find out whAT KIND OF TRANNY I have in my car it is a 99' z28 and I want to get a stall for it but dont know exactly what tranny I have please help. Thanks

If you are looking for a stall make sure you get one for a ls1 4l60e. It is a 300mm setup not the 298mm. Just a info you,Vince.

All kidding aside, the stickies are a great read. And like previously stated you have a LS1 4L60E transmission.

Yank SS3600, Vig 3200 or TCI 3500 (in that order) are three excellent choices for a converter going into a stock/bolt-on car. Tranny cooler is a must and deleting torque management helps alot.
