Fluid Temp & Converter

Fluid Temp & Converter I thought I read somewhere that a torque converter will not lock up properly if the fluid temp is less than 160 degrees ??
I ask the question as I have a TCI SSF 3500 converter and a B&M tranny cooler with an electric fan that I have set to run constantly ..... my temperature averages 110 - 120 on the high side and I have to be going up a hill on a hot day to get it to 160.... It seems to me my torque converter has lost a bit of it's original "snap" and I'm wondering if this is the cause.

Converter lockup is enabled once the fluid reaches ~77*F or so (off the top of my head, but it's in the 70's). I'd love to see my temps stay in the 120's. Could you list the part number of your cooler/fan? Just curious....
