I agree, my dyno numbers agree also .. My numbers don't peak until 6050/6150. According to calculators (with my gears / trans / tire size) .. the difference in shifting @ 5800 and 6150 is approx. 4mph. I should be leaving 2nd @ 5800/85mph and entering 3rd @ 3600rpm. I'm not sure what the total/sum impact would be in the 1/4 .. but since my car is primarily a street car, I would rather error on the side of caution here until I'm ready to put a built trans in there. When I do order my built trans, I will be very specific in that I want it to be able to handle 6100/6200rpm shifts.
