Default TH400 Vacume line

Where is the best place to hook the vacume modulator up on a FAST intake.
I had mine hooked up to the little 1/4 size one on the back passenger side of the intake but I'm having trouble with it shifting from 1st to 2nd and I'm wondering if it needs to be on the brake booster line.

Ive always put mine on the brake booster line... But only because a lack of 'other' ports to use. As far as I was told a direct line to the manifold COULD produce a stronger vacuum signal, but I never had a problem either way.

Whats wrong with the 1-2 shift?

It doesn't want to shift at wide open throttle, you have to get out of it, wait for it to shift and then get back in it.
I might have my rev limiter set too low, I'm going to check that as well but I think I'll move the line to the brake booster like you have yours.

do you have the kick down wired up correctly to a 12 volt switch to charge it at WOT
and make shure you have high vac. at low rpm and little to no vac at WOT

Didn't know about the 12v for kick down, I thought that was just for the lock up?

I think you have the wires in the wrong location--- try to switch pins

Any idea on how to do 12v @ wide open throttle with the LS2 fly by wire throttle body?

a th 400 has no lock up typically unless you have a yank i think, and with an ls2 the easiest way would probabley be to use a wot switch directly on the throttle pedal under the dash. if you hit the limiter its probabley not the solenoid, all it does is dump detent (pressure from the modulator) oil so the trans shifts off govenor oil only.

My tranny is a Yank lock up Th400 with a lockup converter.
I'll hook up a 12v to see if that is the problem.
