Default 1-2 Shift Solenoid location and part number?

Like it says at the top guys,

Where is the 1-2 shift solenoid located and what is the part number? I've been getting a DTC PO751 code "1-2 shift solenoid stuck closed" once a week for about 2 months now and it's finally starting to drive me crazy, so it's time to replace it. TIA,

Mark

FYI.. it's probably not the solenoid, but trash in it. The 1-2 & 3-4 solenoids are located under the tranny pan near the back.

I suggest flushing the tranny out, replacing the filter and all. You can also pull the solenoid and blow it out with a air hose.

Thanks John,

Looks like I've got a project for this weekend. I'll have to get a can of carb cleaner and some tranny fluid and a gasket and get dirty!!!. BTW, I used to live in Cockeysville, I miss Sunday afternoons and crabs. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
