A used (not abused <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> ) low mileage converter is fine as long as the person you are buying from did not have problems with their transmission. Transmission problems could lead to converter contamination. I would not buy from someone who used a manual lock-up switch; WOT lock-ups can be very hard on the clutches.
