Default torque converter help

my converter is trashed and i needed a new one anyways, ive got a 383 lt1 motor, plannin on a 150-200 shot with the new converter, hopefully ill be around 475-550 hp, i just need help figuring out which one to get, what stall, str, brand, ive been researching vigilantes and yanks, i think around a 3000 stall would be about right, but whats the str? and if i go vigilante should i get 3 or 5 disk? any advice would be appreciated, torque converters are very new to me and im learning as i go

Either Yank or Vig. Both are excellent choices. Do a search for STR. Basically STR is the muliplication of your engines torque. The higher the STR, IMHO the better. Higher STR = better 60'
