Default recommend a tranny

Right looking for options on a replacment tranny.

To be used on a h/c 346ci with 450+rwhp shifting at 6600rpm and limiter at rpm limiter at 6800rpm. It will need to be able to handle a 150 shot on top as well. Will be with a 3800rpm stall.

Now it MUST be a 4 speed tranny (3 + OD is fine) and it must use a lockup converter.

what opions are out there, come on name a few shops/types post a link. what do you recommend and why.

Go to our web page and look at the 4l60e level 4 and 5. Without the nitros a level 4 is fine but if you plan on spraying it alot the level5 is what you need. Link is in my sig. Take care,Vince.

Cheers.

As there's a lot of talk about rpms at the present. whats your view on using the rpms listed above with one of your tranny's? It would not be abused, but lets say used very hard for street use.

I'm really not scared! We build a very good transmission and our customer service is some of the best you will ever find. Rpms can be an issue with a poorly built unit. We machine all of our pumps along with very tight spec's throughout our units. This is IMO very important. I believe alot of problems might be cross leaks in the units as well. This is why we focus on getting rid of them. I will tell you we take alot of time when building the FLT unit's. Some of the finest quality I have ever seen. I have been doing this for 17 years so I really am not a newbe. Take care Vince.
