Default Transmission flush

Anyone recommend it ? I have heard it can be catastrophic if not done at the right pressure. Does anyone know what pressure is correct ? I have 58k on my 4L60E and am planning a trip pulling my travel trailer to San Antonio. I'm probably gonna get it done Monday unless I get talked out of it.

Default Re: Transmission flush

It depends on which machine you use. Most modern flushers simply use the factory pump and hook-up through the cooler lines. These are pretty much failsafe when used on a GM tranny. All they have to do is hook up the lines and make sure the fluid levels are accurate and start the vehicle. The trans pump does all the work.

BTW-Just make sure they use the right additives/modifiers when completing the flush.
