Default getting torque converter for 2002 Z28

Are there any problems I should expect from a 2002 Z28 when installing an aftermarket TC? I have one in my 1998 Z28 (Vig 3200). Is there a brand I should get or stay away from? It's not for me it's for my friend. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

From what I've read... Vig's have been good for 01+ cars. Yanks were causing problems initially but they have since corrected the problem so that the 01 and 02 computers don't throw a hissy fit

don't know, don't know...

you still might need to do some custom PCM tuning though...
