What trans what transmission should i go with im going to have a turbo 408 that i plan on making 1000rwhp i its going to see highway rolls and the drag strip money is not a option what would be the best tranny
Sounds like my car, but i'm nowhere near 1000 rwhp.
I run a rossler th400 RMVB with brake. I got the speedo option and had carl setup the tranny so the second gear band is used so it doesn't freewheel. I run 2.75 gears and a vigilante stall that stalls 3000 n/a on the trans brake and 4000 rpms at 10psi. They told me that they could only make my stall a little tighter than what it is now, but there is no need to since it's perfect. Car is absolutely awesome on the highway, i shift from second to third at 120. First goes to 70.
