Default Install vac. modulator in car?

Putting a vacuum modulator in my tranny and was wondering if anyone has done this while tranny was in the car. I know you have to drill and tap a hole in the case but didnt know exactly where. whats the best to use for the vac. line? regular vac hose? also where is the best plact to tap into vacuum? Im sure my kit will have instructions on those things but I havent recieved it yet and would like to know.

Pics would be great!

I did it with the trans in my s10. It came with vacuum line with a metal springy thing in it to keep the hose apart.

You can kindof see it here. It is in the passenger side of the case.
