Question sbc converter on an ls1???????

I am going from an m6 to th350. I just got off the phone with jw performance transmissions and they sell a pilot extension to make an sbc converter work for an ls1 but they said you have to use a sbc flexplate otherwise the converter will not engage the pump. Will a sbc flexplate be cause problems with the starter? Has any one else heard of this before? What do I need to use an sbc converter?

Default

you can either run a 98 model flexplate or buy one from TCI. Both have the dual bolt pattern
