Another fan of FLP, or since you live in Texas talk with PMAC they do real good work. I dont have any personnel experinece with PMAC on 4l60e but they do real good work on 200r4, all the GN guys I know use them.

Default need 4L60E to handle 450-470 HP-H/C 99TA

since my bottom end blew up last week, and my tranny took a crap 3 1/2 weeks ago in Las Vegas, i figure now is as good of a time as any to get my *BRAND NEW* 4L60E built up.

I've been reading good things all day today about FLP's Level IV Upgrade.

Before I go spending $2000, does anyone have any cheaper alternatives to beefing up my A4 to handle 400 RWHP? Torque Management deleted already... and i'm convinced that Tq Mgmt is the only thing that was holding my stock tranny together, as it begain slipping 100 miles later and proceeded to go out the following week.

Tranny cooler is installed now, need a temp gauge and deeper pan probably.

Just call Chuck. He's a good guy who will answer all your questions.
I say FLP...

I run a buddies box now (JG TRANS) and have good results with it.

FLP on the otherhand is tried and true with alot of low 11/high 10 Sec car running them.

I did this trans upgrade as an experiment and its worked out well.We only had to upgrade to better 3/4 clutches after 30 runs since we were testing parts in my box to see what would break or go bad.EVERYTHING else looked perfect when we removed it.

I now have the 7 pack setup in the 3/4 not a 9 pack as I first thought. Its working well and I hope to get 200 runs out of the box before it needs all the 1,2 and 3/4 clutches again.

Hope this helps.
By the way I have ALOT of upgrades done to my box.Its not as easy as adding a trans kit and a bigger pan.I wanna thank JG Trans for all the help.

FLP does alot of R&D work to continue to bring a solid 4L60E to the masses.I'd call FLP and talk to them.

Ditto on Chuck and FLP. You'll notice that you don't se dissatisfied FLP owners.

Would not waist my time on a 4l60e!!!!

You will soon want to put some serious power to the ground so that means th350 OR th400 and not have to sweat **** again!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
