Default Just a quick 4l80e Question

How much Horsepower and torque will a stock 4l80e take? I Know i could have used the "Search" but its not working.

depends on which one you have or get it,
was used with 4.3 up to 8.1 liter in diff models but GM rated for a late model is 885 ft lbs input torgue after the converter

I believe the smallest discplacement engine put in front of the 4L80E was a 5.7L. The G2500 Express vans with 4.3L's (the heviest GVW used with that engine) used the 4L65E.

so, i shouldnt have a problem running one behind a 427cid stroker ls2?

the c/k 20 1991 4.3 up 3/4 ton truck had a 4l80-e trans as did the P chassis van

I will do some independant research before arguing further on the application list of the 4L80E. I have been a GM tech for 15 years and have never seen a 4.3L paired with a 4L80E. But like I said I will do some research before I bet my life on it.
