Default M-6 to TH350 swap?

Anybody know the weight difference? With cooler and a deep pan?

I could only guess but considering that the T-56 weighs even more than the 4L60-E I would say it's a good bit. Maybe 40 lbs?

Thanks Colonel,
Well, the M-6 is on the bench, the Th350 is bolted up, cooler's in, driveshaft is on the way. So, we're getting close, But I didn't weigh anything, Too big of a hurry <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Excited about launching with a transbrake!

Is it a weight gain or weight loss...

I got a TH400, is that heavier than the T-56?

I would guess that the TH400 is a little lighter than the T-56. Maybe 15-20 lbs? Probably about the same as the 4L60-E.

The turbo 350 is a heavier transmission. I've got both sitting in my garage right now. I can pick up the T-56 and carry it without losing my lunch. It takes two of us to carry the 350. I don't have a scale or I'd weigh them.
