I've read the first few pages of that thread. It just gets long. I knew that an automatic shifting 4l60e could do the job, I just didn't know if I should drop it in D or leave it in OD. I'll try my luck with OD. If it breaks, we'll fix it. If it breaks again, then we'll do something else.

Another vote for OD for drag racing. Read way too many of these threads.

The last few pages are where it gets into 3rd vs OD. Might want to check that out if you have the time.

But yeah, I'll be sticking with OD myself.
