th350 convertor ok so i just bought a th350 and am putting it behind my 99 LS1. Its already an auto but i want something different. Im wanting a 3000 stall, i have 273's in the rear. what convertor brand wise would be a best choice? i called TCI and theres was like 586 dollars. thanks

I would have at least a 3.42 gear in the rear and run around 3500 stall. Hughes makes good sbc converters for $426 form summit. But you would need the pilot spacer and dual bolt converter.
