Question LSx + 700r4 info. and ???

so i cant find any help with the search feature to what imm looking for, it turns up irrevelant posts and threads,
i need what pieces are needed to run a 700r4 behind and ls1 engine,
is there a certain flexplate or converter or any resources to find the information and parts, please post if u have any info on the swap,
i am going to use the 700 because thats what i have, its built to handle over
500 whp, plus i wont be running any electronics to control the engine besides the msd ignition controller, the engine i am using dyno'ed just over 600 bhp

You should be able to use any aftermarket flexplate for an LSx and the trans should bolt right up to it. Get a good flexplate, maybe even look into an SFI rated one.

You need the spacer or a specially made converter to bolt the 700R4 to the LS1.
The crank pilot on a regular 700 converter is too short. The spacer will take up the space and will be the cheaper way to go. Or you can get a 700 converter made with a longer crank pilot.

Im also intertested in this.I know you can get crossmembers for 700R4s and Ive seen converts made for LS1s for a th400 bu tnot 700R4 yet

The 700R4 is the same size as the 4L60E so the cross member bolts right up.
For the spacer someone has a link, GM and many others sell these, they are factory stock on certain vehicles.
