Are the parts of the driveshaft that slide into the tranny the same on both shafts or are they different. If it makes a difference my tranny is a 4l60e from a B-body car. The length is not a problem as I am going to be cutting it down anyhow thanks

1982-2002 drive shaft lengths are the same. Automatic and manual trannies, it doesnt matter. The only difference between them are the various diameters used. all are compatible.
